San Clemente Plein Air Quick Draw 2008

I am thrilled and honored to have received a 3rd Place award yesterday at the San Clemente Plein Air Quick Draw. Artists had the opportunity to paint within hearing distance of the community center. There were beautiful still life setups on the lawn and a model was posed in another part of the campus. About 80 or so artists participated during this two hour event, where the weather was partly sunny, high overcast at times, and a bit blustery!
Post painting and jurying, we enjoyed wine, live music, and some good food from Selma's.
It was great fun and great camaraderie! Many, many thanks to those responsible!
